  115. i'm sewing for family, too. right now i'm making red/black/white blocks for a sylvia's bridal sampler and will mix it with farmer's wife quilt blocks to make quilts for two of my granddaughters. originally it was for the eldest one, but one of her little sisters has achromatopsia--legally blind and only sees in shades of gray. i had just finished a beautiful rainbow strata quilt top when we found out and i just can't bring myself to finish it, but that little girl went through all 140 blocks done so far and made comments about everyone of them--is that just cool or what?!! i'm also making a strata quilt with strips from orange to purple and everything in between that will float on white--for my niece & new hubby. and i'm making an interlocking seasons quilt top in maroony reds/black/gold for my nephew & new wife. that's not counting all the other quilts i have in progress and needing to be quilted. thanks for the opportunity and have a great day
