Coming Soon....

I am super excited to announce that coming soon.....

I will have the Carolina Breeze Bag PATTERN for sale!

I love making these bags, and have made several for myself and others. It's such an easy bag to sew with an unlimited number of fabrics/colors to choose from, so I want people to be able to make their own!!

The pattern is still a work in progress. I have MY pattern, but it's wrinkled and written on, so I'm working on making it pretty! There will be options for the short, or long strap as well as a bow or no bow, and pockets on the inside.

Here are three that I've made for myself...

The burlap is my favorite because it weighs NOTHING! It is totally weightless and I love how beachy it feels. This bag inspired the name "Carolina Breeze"

The Clemson version is a close second in my favorites list. It is also made of burlap and lined with cotton.

I love the bow on the front. It gives it a fun, feminine touch.

This Lemonade version, I made out of cotton Duck with a cotton lining. It's a little heftier than the other two and I didn't put a bow on it. It hasn't had as much carrying time, but I'm about to put it into the rotation to show it some love.

I'm hoping to have the pattern ready in a few weeks so you can start spring sewing!!

There might even be a GIVEAWAY for one of my fabulous readers!

***I will be needing Pattern Testers to try it out and tell me if there are any kinks/problems with the pieces or instructions. If you love to sew and would be interested in being a tester for me, e-mail me or leave me a comment on this post! A link to your own blog would help so I can see what you've sewn before. This pattern will be for a confident-beginner sewist. ***

Thanks for all of the comments and e-mails about testing the pattern! I have plenty of willing volunteers for now and will send out the pattern as soon as it's done!

  1. I can test it if you need me to. I usually sew quilts, but crank out clothing and purses now and then. www.smalltownstitcher.blogspot.com

  6. I would love to test this out! Your blog has inspired me to start sewing. I made Marissa a quilt and put an "M" on it using your DIY applique tutorial. :)
