Shirt Refashion!

As part of the "We Can Do It" refashion event...I decided to turn a little boy's dress shirt into a dress! I love the blog MADE and they have a great little dress made from a mens shirt. This dress inspired me. I needed a much tinier size, so I bought a little boys shirt from Goodwill for $2 and made it into this!!!

It turned out sooooo cute! I fell in love with the shirt because it was blue and green. I'm going to have to go back and see what else I can find. It feels great to buy from Goodwill and make something wonderful for your little one! Everybody wins with this refashion!! (And if you screw it up, you're out $2. I spent more on gas getting there.)

It started as this.....

And ended up like this.....

I wanted to make a little fabric flower too....isn't it adorable?!

I'm very excited to go back and see what other "treasures" I can find at the thrift store. I hope the fabric shop doesn't miss me too badly!
